Route: Paknajol - Dhalku - Kalimati Bazar - Balkhu - TU - Kritipur - Chobar - Khokana (Single Track) -
Bhaisepati - Jawalakhel - Paknajol
This combination of Kritipur and Khokana offers an excellent day of biking, allowing you to explore the beauty of both heritage sites. Kritipur and Khokana are rich in history, with temples and monuments reflecting the area’s cultural heritage. Khokana is a UNESCO World Heritage site, known for being the first city in Nepal to have electricity. Kritipur is also a candidate for UNESCO status, famous for its natural beauty and temples. Chobar is a natural site with temples and the famous gorge.
The ride features both historical and natural sites and is a great opportunity to experience Newar culture. The first and last sections involve some traffic, but the rest of the trail is more peaceful. We’ll enjoy a packed lunch or local food along the way.
