Khokana Ride

    Route: Paknajol - Tripureshwor - Jawalakhel - Nakhu - Bhaisepati - Khokana - Nakhu - Jawalakhel – back

Khokana is a traditional Newar village where most people still live off farming. The town is home to many temples, monuments, and a traditional mustard oil extraction process. If time permits, we may also visit Bungmati, a neighboring Newar village.

The first and last sections of the trail have traffic, but we’ll take it slow. The middle sections involve some uphill riding, but after crossing Ring Road, we’ll mostly ride on flat terrain. The ride is enjoyable, with the option to try local Newar food for lunch. If you prefer, we can bring a packed lunch.
