It has historical sites like Pagoda style temples and Stupas, old traditional brick houses, rich Newari culture and stunning Himalayas onsite scenes while we do mountain biking at Kritipur city which means “city of Glory”.

Kritipur mountain bike in Kathmandu is a day trip mountain bike in Kathmandu. Kritipur has historical sites and many temples and monuments. It is a home land of culture rich Newar communities. We will explore temples, Newari culture, caves and gorge of Chobar. On your intrest, we can visit Tau Dha (meaning Big Pond), which used to be a big lake covering the Kathmandu valley in the past but now as it is the only remaining lake area we find in this place. Around this lake, you can see the birds species that migrates from Siberia. It is historic pond and an international bird migrating spot, too.
This is a ride that combines historical and natural sites. The traffic in Kathmandu is moderate in first and last section of our mountain bike tour but rest of the mountain bike trial is mostly peaceful and quite. The ride includes flat, uphill and downhill section which makes the ride full of fun.
The mountain bike ride is affordable, cheap and amazing at Kathmandu Valley which is a day trip. This mountian biking trip is suitable for beginner and intermediate but for the professional we can add Khokana and Bungmati on site as well. We can see both culture and nature while you ride Kritipur and Chobar with Tau Dha.

You need to bring water bottles, Gloves, air proof jacket or windcheater, buff face wear, t-shirt, shorts, trousers, shoes, eye goggles (sun glass), light backpack, chocolate bars and others are optional [for instance: Raincoat is need only during raining season which is in June/July/August]. Weather is unpredictable but we have to have all needy gears.
